This router, which features all of of the functionality of the Cisco 1841, also has the increased capabilities of the updated Cisco T1 data service unit/ channel service unit (DSU/CSU) WAN Interface Card (WIC). This offers is an integrated, fully managed DSU/CSU for T1 or fractional T1 service. The WIC-1DSU-T1-V2 is an updated version of the WIC-1DSU-T1, offering additional supported features with the same performance. The 1800 series is the next generation of Cisco’s award-winning 1700 series. It provides secure data connection with increased additional value. Containing more tha a fivefold performance increase, this routers integrated hardware-based encryption is enabled by an optional Cisco IOS software security image. Also featured is a significant increase in tnterface card slot performance and density while maintaining support for more than 30 exisiting WAN interface cards and multiflex trunk cards. Perfect for small to medium sized businesses or small enterprise branch offices, the 1841 provides secure, fast and high-quality delivery of multiple, concurrent services. This product interfaces with a wide range of connectivity requirements and is ready for future nework expansions and advanced applications.
